A category module is a way of dividing the app into different sections. In this way, the experience becomes more user-friendly and structured.
If you only have a few walks you do not need categories but as soon as the content is larger och wider adding categories is a great idea. There are four types of categories:
Categories Container,select Blank. Enter a name and then click Save and Publish.GuideCategory- this type of category collects the Walks you select at Select Walk(s).PageCategory this type of category can be a direct link to a page within the app, such as:Location Type Filter. The user can always choose to show other points of interest as well.External Link Category- this type acts as a direct link to any place on the web. So enter a direct link (url), a web address, in the PageToOpenfield. Note that the link must start with http.Empty Category- this type acts as an upper level. You can create sub categories within the upper level.Save and Publish.Walks within a category are are by default displayed as a list. But it is possible to have the list displayed as a slider horizontally instead as shown on the image below.
Just select Sliderat the bottom of the form in the general tab of the category. .
