¶ Multifunctional Map - InfoPins
In addition to Locations, you can add other types of information points to the maps within the app. We call these InfoPins and they are under the folder Multifunctional Map in the tree menu. Below is a list of the types of InfoPins available today. If you are missing one, or want to create your own, get in touch with us.
On each InfoPin you can add an image, title, text (can contain a link to a website) and a position.
You can:
- Mark where cafes, toilets and sights are located.
- Add new types of InfoPins, specific to your app.
- Hide / show types of InfoPins using menu.
¶ Add an InfoPin
- First, make sure you have the Multifunctional Map below the top level (the house icon). If you do not have one - click on three points (…) and select Multifunctional Map. Enter a name (eg "InfoPins"). Click Save and Publish.
- Then click on the created Multifunctional Map and three dots (…).
- Click
InfoPin - Choose template: Blank
- Enter a name
- Add type of location
Mapmarker - Select type of
Type of InfoPin(See list below) - Fill in the remaining fields below
Basic Content - Enter a position below the tab
Position - Click on
Save and Publish.
¶ Directions
When clicking on an InfoPin in the app, the image, text and a small icon for directions to the location of the place are displayed.
¶ Filter
In the app's filter function, the user can choose to display all types of InfoPins, or just some, on all maps.
The app is automatically set to show all (active) InfoPins by default on the overview map, and none (inactive) on walk maps.
